DO YOU want it for Nothing?
Apparently a very large portion of the Homeowners
here in Turtle Creek do!
As of February 14, 2010 there are about 76 homeowners that have NOT paid
their dues for 2009 of just $38.50. That amounts to
$2,926.00 this year alone but do you want
to hear, or read, the REAL "punch" line? That "PUNCH" line is
simply this.
Since Turtle Creek became a Mandatory Homeowners Association there is
now a total of $5,915.00 owed for
the past years, NOT counting 2009. ADD it up! That comes to
around $8,841.00!
YOU cannot MOW the areas, YOU cannot light up the signs at the
entrances, YOU cannot plant plants at the entrances, YOU cannot water
those plants, YOU cannot maintain the signs, YOU cannot have a Halloween
parade for the KIDS, YOU cannot have a Christmas contest, YOU cannot
have a NEWSLETTER, YOU cannot have a WEB site, YOU cannot get the city
to help with BOATS-TRAILERS-DEAD CARS if we don't care FIRST.
EVERY bit of this TAKES money,,,Money that the Association DOES NOT
have. Want to know just where you money is going? Then you go can
to the "Home" page and click on the "Check Book Balance" and take a lot
at what we (you) are doing. We are NOT the FEDERAL Government that
can "print" money and pay bills,, we must have it in the bank or NOT do
it at all.
If you are NOT willing to pay what YOU owe, then figure out what you are
willing to do "without" and let us know. As we STOP the things
that has made Turtle Creek a wonderful and beautiful place to live YOU
will begin to see signs that rot, no lights at the entrances, no
watering, plants that die, grass along 145th and east 81st about knee
high and covered in weeds, no street lights, no Halloween parade, no
Christmas decorating, cars-boats-trailers parked in yards and DEAD cars
just about anywhere.
