The NEW Lights Finally MADE it!

 
The first locations will be at the corner of

 Aspen Court and Louisville,
Chestnut and Louisville,
 Chestnut and Knoxville,
1300 Block of South Chestnut Avenue
Beech Court and Oak Ridge
Oak Ridge and Aspen Court

PSO has a program where they will remove the present "telephone pole" and light, and replace it with a Black Fiberglass pole and Colonial Head for a total cost of $750.00 per location.  According to PSO the light will be the same but will make better use of the "light".  As long as we stay with the same type of light the city will continue to pay for the electric bill.  Areas that are "dark" will be considered later due to the cost of getting power to those locations and there are about 5 of these locations.
  The City is very proud of what we are doing and wishes that other additions would do the same to beautify their additions.  The Tulsa World will also being doing a story concerning this major improvement to Turtle Creek.

"TRASH DAYS"

I'll try and help out here a little by trying to let you know when the "not normal" trash days are.
Any time "Monday" is a holiday, trash is NOT picked up on Tuesday but instead it is picked up on Wednesday and again on Friday.
Normal "Trash" days are Tuesday and Friday with changes as outlined above.
